Villa Garden of Como

This elegant Luxury Villa is located on the western shores of Lake Como in the town of Laglio, one of the most sought-after villages on the lake. The property, literally just a stone’s throw from the lake, is located on the famous old road that lines Lake Como and that winds its way past some of Italy’s most famous villas and through some of the lakes most stunning and well known towns. The villa fits right into place in this truly majestic setting.

The historic villa which dates back to the end of the 19th century includes 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 11 guests. The spaces have been tastefully restored throughout whilst maintaining the villa’s unique charm where elegant period furniture seamlessly mixes in with high quality modern finishes. The ground floor consists of the grand entrance hall, large lounge with decorated ceilings and marble floors, dining room with seating for 12 people, modern kitchen complete with all amenities and a bathroom. The first floor includes two bedrooms, including the main master suite, each with their own ensuites. The master suites opens onto a long balcony with lake views.

The second floor includes four bedrooms and two bathrooms including one bedroom with ensuite. Two of the bedrooms on the second floor possess lake views. The villa boasts stunning gardens and grounds offering complete privacy and seclusion which is a rarity in this particular part of the lake. The large and extremely well manicured lawn where the gorgeous swimming pool with lake views is found is a true gem where guests can whittle away hours on end sunning by the pool or enjoying alfresco dining in the numerous outdoor dining spots found within the grounds of the property.

The location is excellent with the villa positioned just 50 minutes drive from Milan Malpensa International Airport and 45 minutes from Lugano International Airport. The town of Laglio occupies one of the best positions on the lake, on the most exclusive stretch of Lake Como, situated amongst some of the area’s most beautiful villages, an ideal launching pad to explore the lake and its towns by boat. The lake can be reached within a minute of leaving the front door and within a two minute walk from the villa there are restaurants and shops.

The Accommodation

In Villa Garden of Como comfortably sleeps 11 people. All the bedroom suites have been designed in a stylish manner in keeping with the villa’s elegant features.

1st Floor (2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms)

2nd Floor (4 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms)

Property Details

NEW Services included within rental price:

Concierge Service: A concierge service will be available on call at all times to answer any
questions
Welcome basket at arrival including local salami and cured meats, crackers and cheese, fresh
seasonal fruit, prosecco and fruit juices
Housekeeping service: 3 hrs/day 5 days a week.
Bedroom and Bathroom linen change mid-week. For any additional linen changes required
there will be an extra cost of Euro 150 (for the changes of all the bedrooms and bathrooms)
Utilities

Additional Services: All additional services can be arranged separately e.g. transfers, private driver, housekeeping, massage, tours etc. When possible advise before arrival.

Check-in/out: Check-in from 4 pm and check-out by 10 am. Late check in needs to be confirmed prior to arrival; 2 sets of keys will be handed to guests to have independent access to the villa.

Security Deposit: €3,500 per week to be held by rental agency when possible otherwise, it will need to be paid by bank transfer by the balance payment’s due date (Bank account to be provided separately when requested).

Pets: Owner must approve.
